AI is Not Likely to Replace IT Team

As computer related crimes increases, companies have started using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to counter. AI increases efficiency as it can automate tasks and execute them in a timely manner.

AI can help protect a company through different acts like monitoring a large number of users to create a baseline. On the other hand, AI is an integral part of threat intelligence and open source intelligence.

Furthermore, the AI needs to be created with the organization’s needs in mind. It is important to understand the problems when creating the AI so it can best protect the organization. One great area where AI can be of assistance is identifying gaps in network security.

At this point in time, AI is insufficient to be considering replacing your IT team. Planning, training, deployment and response are still required elements of a cyber secure business culture.
